Apocynaceae

Fire & Ice™ Fury Variegated Mandevilla, Dipladenia

Mandevilla x 'Fire & Ice' PPAF

2-3'' widely flaring, intense, velvety red trumpet shaped flowers contrast wonderfully with the cream, green, and sometimes pink tinged foliage. This is a dwarf Mandevilla or Dipladenia but packs plenty of punch for it's smaller stature which lends itself to containers, mailboxes, and small trellises.

For the best results the Fire & Ice™ Variegated Mandevilla may need midday and afternoon shade in southern latitudes. Provide your Mandevillas with a fertile, well-draining soil and allow the soil to become slightly dry between waterings. To overwinter them protect from freezing temperatures and provide them with as much light as possible indoors preferable with direct sun through a south facing window and keep the water to a minimum. Never allow them to sit in saucer of water for more than about 30 minutes.
