An Almost Eden exclusive introduction! Almost Anita produces large to medium sized soft pink, double flowers that are heavily marked, streaked, and striped with bright fuchsia. It is an early flowering Camellia that blooms in December and January. We believe that Anita is likely in its parentage as it shares a similar form and flowering time as well as the flecking. Zone 6B cold hardy! Medium sized, intense bright red, anemone form flowers with a smattering of white variegated petaloids and occasionally displaying pink filaments tipped with gold stamens. Gigantea is truly one of our favorites. The deep red and contrasting pure white flowers are each uniquely variegated and can range from nearly solid red to pure white and the variegation of each flower can consist of splashes, to flecks, to half red/half white flowers.
