Hydrangea macrophylla 'SAXWHIMAR' PP27112
The medium to large mopheads are composed of deep blue to deep royal purple sterile florets that are edged in contrasting light blue to light lavender and are produced beginning in mid to late spring continuing into fall. Violet Crown Big Leaf Hydrangea is a vigorous yet compact plant with good branching habit and established plants can flower from summer to frost under good contidions. It is small enough to enjoy in medium to large containers as well as adding its vivid summer colors to the garden and landscape.
