2020 New Plants
We are already beginning to add to our newest plants for the 2020 growing season. Expect more new Camellias, Tropical Plants, Hardy Perennials, Native Perennials, Shrubs, Vines and of course new pollinator plants to feed pollinators like butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and hummingbird moths. We hope you enjoy our newest plant additions as much as we do!
Up to 1/2" wide creamy white flowers with purple striped bee guides in their centers are produced on dainty stems held above the clean medium green foliage throughout much of spring. The Primrose Leaved Violet is an exceptionally free flowering, dainty native perennial common in moist, acid, often sandy soils along the edges of bogs, streams, and in moist deciduous woodlands. It will slowly spread by stolons and seeds and makes a dense groundcover in containers. The flowers are bee pollinated but may be visited by smaller butterflies and other beneficials. The Primrose Leaved Violet is well suited to moist naturalistic settings like bog gardens, moist shaded areas, and stream sides. Item # 11113
