Camellia japonica 'Nuccio's Pearl'

Perfectly formed, fully double soft pink nearly white at the center and fading to dark orchid pink at the edges. The perfect flowers of this beauty are borne over a fairly long period in mid-late season (February-May). Oakleaf Hydrangea (Seedlings)

Hydrangea quercifolia (seedlings)

The Oakleaf Hydrangea produces large white conical flower heads with large white sterile florets. The flowers are long lasting and fade through shades of pink and change to buff colors in the fall. The large unusual oak-leaf shaped, soft new foliage is somewhat olive green in spring, matures to a medium green and changes to reds, oranges, and purples in fall. Winter shows off the Oakleaf Hydrangeas peeling buff and coppery colored bark and tiny buds which look like praying hands at the tips of the stems. A native of the southeastern US, these are seedlings and so the number and size of sterile florets, overall flower size, and mature plant size may vary slightly from the image shown, the image provided is an example only. In midspring, this old heirloom favorite perennial produces long chains of dangling rosy-pink heart-shaped flowers from which contrasting white petals emerge or 'bleed'. The Old Fashioned Bleeding Heart, Dicentra spectabilis, is a shade loving clump forming perennial that develops into a soft mound of finely cut and finely textured bluish green foliage that adorns arching stems. They will perform best in a shaded site with well-drained semi-moist loamy soils with moderate amounts of organic matter. Pam Puryear's Pink Honeysuckle produces large clusters of 2" deep pink tubular flowers with white throats and are lightly fragrant. The fragrance is most noticeable in the late afternoon and evening. This is an excellent addition to the garden with its mannerly habit, disease resistance, and the profusion of spring and early summer flowers. We apologize for any confusion but this is actually an old, likely hybrid, honeysuckle that originated from Pam Puryear's grandmother's garden in Navasota, Texas.
