I have this planted in various spots. The one that gets some direct sun (no more than 2 hours) and dappled to deep shade the rest of the day blooms best without getting ''thirsty'' in my hot summer climate. look for a spot where the foliage gets edged in purple but not much more than that. Flower color is just like picture.I have it planted with 'Caramel' Heuchera (most heat tolerant Heuchera I have found) and I really like the combination.
