I ordered this hibiscus last spring. Its first year it didn't get very tall (maybe 20") but had the most gorgeous, big, deep red flowers. It's hard to capture their beauty in photos! This spring it was the first hardy hibiscus to wake up and it's already about 28" tall and has buds all over, getting ready to bloom (3rd week of May, Houston TX). This is definitely my favorite of the 5 varieties of hardy hibiscus that I have in my garden. I have it growing next to Belinda's dream rose and the combination is stunning.
