just has never done anything (2/3/2022)
This is no reflection on Almost Eden Plants. Everything I've ever ordered from them has been healthy. I think the poor plant just doesn't grow in my zone. I have moved it, repotted it, had it in the ground, and in a pot... It makes a few leaves, but never any flowers. I have had it for 3 years, but no luck.

A couple of notes on the Native/Deciduous Azaleas: These plants, like most members of the Blueberry family or Ericaceae, enter into a symbiotic relationship with soil mycorrhizal fungi and so by moving them around frequently you minimize this important effect and so it continues to take longer for them to be able to get fully established and thus enter into significant growth. They are a little slow to establish but generally once they do they take off quite well under good conditions. Treat them as you would any other Azalea as far as using an organic mulch, like pine straw, and use a slow release fertilizer that does not affect the soil pH or is acidifying.
