Florida Summer Firecracker Flower, Yellow Crossandra
Crossandra infundibuliformis 'Florida Summer'

Spikes of soft orangey yellow flowers are produced from spring to frost, or year round under tropical conditions, on this upright to spreading naturally evergreen tropical plant. Florida Summer Firecracker Flower or Crossandra has a moderately compact habit with rich green foliage whose endless procession of flowers are sure to brighten any tropical scene. In areas with hot summer climates Crossandras tend to prefer cool filtered sunlight, early morning sun, or very late afternoon sunlight. In cooler climates they can tolerate full sun. Use Crossandras as container plants as specimens or as companion plants. In zone 10 they may be used as perennials. We previously offered this as the Yellow Crossandra or 'Lutea' and the two are identical. Item# 11475

Gem™ Compact Pink Opal Lantana
Lantana 'Gem™ Compact Pink Opal' PPAF?

The 2021 Classic City Award winner in the UGA Trial Gardens! The rounded flower clusters open yellow, fade into peach, and then deepen into rich pink tones. Gem™ Compact Pink Opal Lantana was developed with container culture in mind where they will provide spring to fall color and nectar for pollinators all on a compact rounded plant growing to just 8-10"H x 10-12"W. These versatile heat and sunloving plants can also be utilized for hanging baskets as well as in the garden and landscape. Due to their slow growth rate, the Lantana in this series may not be suitable for cool summer climates. Provide a full to mostly sunny site in a fertile, average moist soil for optimum vigor and continuous flowering. Images courtesy of Danziger, all rights reserved. Cool Cream Salvia, Mountain Sage, Little Leaf Sage, Baby Sage, Graham's Sage, Black Currant Sage
Salvia microphylla 'Cool Cream'

The large creamy white flowers emerge from loose purple-black tinged spikes and calyxes from spring to fall attracting hummingbirds and other garden beneficials. Cool Cream Salvia, a selection or hybrid of the Little Leaf or Mountain Sage, Salvia microphylla, boasts excellent vigor and flower power with flowering beginning early and continuing reliably through summer and into fall. In areas where hard freezes do not occur, The Mountain Sages may develop a shrubby semi-woody base, while in zone 8 and colder, established plants act more like herbaceous perennials dying back to near ground level and returning in early spring. Enjoy these colorful pollinator attractors in the garden and landscape or as rewarding and forgiving container specimens. Provide full sun to partly shaded sites in well-drained, fertile soils for optimum vigor and flowering. Images courtesy of Jadelty Plant Propagation Nursery, all rights reserved. Item# 13146
