Welcome to Almost Eden, the Source for Beautiful, Unusual, Exotic, and Native Plants.


By placing an order with us or using this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our Privacy Policy govern Almost Eden's relationship with you in relationship to this website.


  • Please note we do not honor coupons of any type at this time. If you find a coupon for Almost Eden, Almost Eden Plants, or almostedenplants.com on the internet it is a scam.

  • Prohibited Uses: You are not permitted to use this website other than for private and non-commercial purposes. The use of any automated system or software to extract data from this website, including scraper bots, is expressly prohibited. Almost Eden, LLC. reserves the right to take such action as it deems necessary to enforce this prohibition, including legal action, without prior formal notice.
  • The products listed on this website are live plants and the availability of stock, plant prices, and or any information contained within this website is subject to change without notice.  
  • Usage of pictures is available upon request.


  • Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.  


  • Almost Eden does not sell, share, or otherwise release our customers' information except that which is required to ship your package via FedEx, our typical shipping method, or USPS Priority Mail Service for orders outside of the lower 48 states.


  • You may not create a link to this website from another commercial website or document without Almost Eden's prior written consent.


  • Certain plants on Almost Eden's website may be patented and/or trademarked and are denoted as such by either a patent number (PP12345) or other code (PPAF) following the botanical name. For example:"Camellia sasanqua 'Green 99-006' PP20539". These plants are under US plant patent protections and are not to be asexually propagated without the appropriate permissions from the patent holder. 
  • Certain other plants on Almost Eden's website may be trademarked and this is denoted using one of the following symbols ®, ©, or ™ in the plant or product name or botanical name. Using the same cultivar as in the example above "October Magic® Bride Camellia". These plants are also under varietal protection and may not be offered for sale or marketed without the appropriate consent from the trademark or copyright owner. 
  • Almost Eden is under contract for some, if not all, of these patented and trademarked plants or products. Use of this information to resale these items purchased from Almost Eden could make anyone who does so liable for civil and criminal actions.These products are meant for retail sale only by authorized vendors, like Almost Eden, LLC., and the trademark and patent holders of these products. 
  • Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of this website is subject to the laws of the State of Louisiana and The United States of America.  
  • Due to a recent massive retail arbitrage case, which we feel is exceptionally unfair to the gardeners and plant people who are being scammed as well as the affected nurseries and plant companies, we no longer ship gift orders that originate from outside of the US without prior approval from one of our staff. Providing a false return address is illegal as well. Feel free to contact us with any questions about this policy.  


Our Guarantee

Customer satisfaction is important to us.  The crew here at Almost Eden works diligently to ensure that your plants will have arrived to you in a timely manner and according to your requested shipment date in a condition that is healthy and are normally large enough to begin flowering in their first season. 

We do guarantee that:

    your plants will arrive healthy and in a condition which will give them the opportunity to grow and perform as we would expect them to under normal satisfactory growing conditions.  If you find a problem with your shipment please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.  If we find it appropriate, we will replace your damaged plants, credit your account, or provide the appropriate refund pertaining to the order in question. We will, at most, only replace, credit, or refund the original purchase price of the product in question.

    If you are not completely satisfied with your order please contact us within ten days of receipt of your order and we will do our best to work with you in order to remedy the situation.

We do not guarantee plants that are damaged or are in poor condition due to:

    exposure to inappropriate extremes in temperature, light, wind, salts, chemicals, or other conditions that are detrimental to the general health and well being of the plant(s) once you have received it(them). We feel that it is as much the customer's responsibility to provide the appropriate care for the plants that they have purchased as it is our responsibility to provide quality products and prompt and convenient service. If the plants that you are purchasing are cold sensitive, we feel that it is the customer's responsibility to take this into consideration when placing the order. We normally try to ship orders as promptly as possible, once an order has been placed and approved. We ship on Mondays, and on Tuesdays occasionally, the weekly orders are cutoff at midnight on the Wednesday before unless otherwise specified. In other words, so long as you place your order by Wednesday at midnight we will ship it out the following Monday under typical circumstances and foregoing federal holidays or other unforeseen circumstances. If at anytime prior to the package being shipped you decide for us to hold your order for a later ship date due to unexpected conditions please feel free to contact us.

    plants that have remained in their packages beyond a reasonable amount of time after having been delivered to the address that the customer has specified (P.O. boxes included) when placing the order. Once the package has been transferred from Almost Eden to Fedex or the USPS we may not be able to reliably redirect your package, if at all. Living and growing plants become perishable items once they enter their packages and can only reasonably be expected to tolerate the varied temperature conditions and darkness that they may experience on their journey for a limited amount of time. Within 24 hours of an order having been shipped Almost Eden will notify you of its shipment via the email address that you supplied when the order was originally placed. This email will originate from FedEx.com or USPS.com so you may want to add those to your email whitelist. If you feel that your package may need special instructions given to the Fedex delivery driver please let us know and we will be happy to include them on the outside of your package.
