Camellia sasanqua 'Feathered Edge'

The wavy, 3-4" wide flowers of Feathered Edge Sasanqua Camellia are white broadly edged with dark rosy red with feathery streaks radiating inward. The obviously Yume-like flowers have more petals per flower and can range from near peony form to semi-double and the plant flowers early in the season beginning in October and lasting into December. This 2005 Bobby Green and Green Nurseries introduction has a naturally compact rounded habit and a moderately slow rate of growth to about 6-8'H. Item# 11577

Camellia sasanqua 'Hana-Nana'

The single white flowers of this fall and winter flowering Sasanqua Camellia are broadly edged in nicely contrasting dark rosy red, at times with purple tinges, with a large boss of bright yellow stamens. Hana-Nana Sasanqua Camellia is another excellent introduction from the work of Bobby Green and Green Nurseries and is a seedling of Hana-Jiman. This is a dense and compact growing rounded evergreen shrub that lends itself to use as a low to medium sized hedge, small specimen or container plant. New growth is purplish. Camellia sasanqua 'Leslie Ann'

The double white flowers are edged in a rich rosy pink and are produced in profusion early in the season. Leslie Ann is a vigorous upright growing evergreen shrub to small tree that makes a wonderful specimen, screen, or large hedge. Its adaptability to a wide range of growing conditions from sun to light shade as well as being more tolerant of soil types than the Camellia Japonica types, and few disease or pest problems has made this a choice landscape and garden specimen as well as a 2015 Louisiana Super Plant selection. Very similar to the popular 'Leslie Ann' but according to Bobby Green, its hybridizer, this one has even larger flowers.
