Spikes of soft orange flowers are produced from spring to frost, or year round under tropical conditions, on this upright to spreading naturally evergreen tropical plant. Florida Sunset Crossandra has a moderately compact upright to spreading habit with rich green foliage whose endless procession of flowers are sure to brighten any tropical scene. In hot summer climates Crossandras generally prefer shade during the heat of the day.
