Hoya obovata, Porcelain Flower, Wax Flower
Hoya obovata
The large glossy rounded foliage of Hoya obovata is often flecked with silver and pink, especially on the newer foliage. Rounded hanging clusters of light to pale pink star-shaped flowers are centered with contrasting purplish-red and are considered to be lightly fragrant. Hoya obovata is a vigorous and easy to grow naturally evergreen tropical climber or trailing plant well suited to tropical and indoor settings. Provide a well-drained soil and high indirect light like on a porch or covered patio during the warm season. Looks great in hanging baskets. An excellent choice for beginning Hoya enthusiasts.
