Large rounded clusters composed of numerous waxy white to creamy white flowers with reflexing white sepals and a hint of yellow at their hearts are produced in spring and summer to potentially throughout the growing season on large established plants. Hoya pachyclada has large, succulent, ovate, medium green foliage can that be nearly 1/4" thick and it has noticeable lighter main veins. This evergreen vine is considered by some to be slow growing but under good conditions they appear to be moderately vigorous. It can be trained to a sturdy small wooden support where its adventitious roots will attach as well trained to a small trellis or other sturdy support. Provide a fertile, well-drained, quality cactus-mix like soil allowing the soil to become somewhat dry between waterings. The thick rounded cupped leaves are arranged uniformly opposite each other in four rows along the thick succulent stems. 'Ihi is a naturally evergreen small shrubby succulent with upright to trailing stems that grows to about 12" x 12" making it the perfect choice for a unique container specimen. 'Ihi is a rare and endangered Hawaiian native that needs excellent drainage. Each bright yellow leaf is edged in a narrow band of contrasting deep green with new growth that is tinged pink adorning red to burgundy young stems and tips. Krimson Princess Hoya is without a doubt one of the most beautiful yellow variegated Waxflowers and produces dangling clusters of waxy soft pink flowers in summer. It makes an elegant hanging basket and container specimen that is as easy to grow as other Hoya carnosa types and is only marginally slower growing than many. Loose hyacinth-like spikes of dainty green flowers with recurving petals and contrasting dark purple filaments and yellow stamens are held above the spotted succulent lax green foliage in spring after a dry winter dormancy. This is an easy to grow dwarf scilla or squill, tentatively Ledebouria socialis 'Laxifolia' as there are many similar horticultural forms within this species, is a dwarf growing, evergreen herbaceous tropical succulent that grows from a thickened above ground bulb and readily multiplies happily filling its container. This should make an easy windowsill, porch, or patio plant where it receives bright indirect sunlight or a small amount of cool early morning or filtered sunlight. Provide this easy to grow plant with a well-drained, cactus-like soil and allow the soil to become moderately dry between waterings. If it gets too dry it will wilt to let you know but it readily recovers once moisture is applied. During active growth, average moisture is preferred and it can be allowed to remain a good deal dryer when dormant. The Lemon Vine creates a beautiful foliage plant with its yellow to bronze and even orange, thick succulent leaves that adorn this vining tropical cactus.
