1'H or Lower Perennials

Find perennials that remain below 1 foot high under most conditions. These plants are perfectly suited for the front of the perennial border, garden, and landscape and many are suitable for groundcovers beneath larger plants and as spillers for containers and over walls. Some of the lower growing perennials in this group, like Frogfruit, may also be suitable for popping in between pavers and as an excellent lawn replacement. Growing conditions and how well a plant is established may affect it's ultimate size.
