Phenomenal™ Lavender
Lavandula x intermedia 'Niko' PP24193
At last, a Lavender that can withstand the heat and humidity of the Southeastern US! The aptly named Phenomenal™ Lavender produces dense spikes of short-tubular deep blue-purple flowers held well above the compact neatly rounded mounds of gray-green fragrant foliage beginning in mid to late spring and continuing into summer. The flowers of Lavender attract bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators while the foliage is deer and rabbit resistant. Provide a very well-drained soil in a full to mostly sunny location for optimum health and flowering. Phenomenal™ Lavender can be enjoyed in the garden or landscape as well as in medium-sized containers with quality well-drained soils. Named a 2013 "Must-Grow Perennial" by Better Homes and Gardens.
