Camellia 'Fragrant Fairies'

Hundreds of dainty, white, cupped blossoms, often lightly blushed pink, are nestled tightly together along the stems providing a light fragrance on warm winter and early spring days with the main flowering occurring between January and March to April. Fragrant Fairies Camellia is an exceptionally vigorous growing hybrid with an upright to semi-arching habit, the latter especially so when the plants are loaded with buds, that can reach 10-15' high and 6-8' wide. The plants are cloaked in a medium to fine-textured, very dark green foliage similar to a Sasanqua, but with a matte finish and the new growth tends to be red to bronze.
