Loads of deep reddish-pink small single flowers, occasionally tinged purple, with a contrasting boss of golden yellow stamens are produced late in the season. Afternoon Delight Sasanqua Camellia is a vigorous growing, large evergreen shrub with a naturally upright to arching habit making it a good choice as a specimen plant, hedge or screen. Provide Camellias with a fertile soil rich in organic matter, with average moisture, and a deep organic mulch.
