The large, lightly fragrant flowers are composed of rusty red to near burgundy falls, standards, and style arms and are accented by large starkly contrasting mustard yellow signals. Boiled Crawfish Louisiana Iris is a compact, midseason flowering perennial growing to about 26-28" high. Louisiana Irises are easy and adaptable, rhizomatous perennials with fans of deep green sword-like foliage and seem as at home in standing water as they do in average moist garden soils. Clusters of upward facing, soft lavender pink, nicely fragrant flowers are produced in loose clusters on 12-16" high stems in mid to late spring attracting mainly butterflies. Bonnie's Pink Prairie Phlox, a selection of Phlox pilosa and appears to match the description of ssp. ozarkana, is an evergreen to semi-evergreen, rhizomatous, native perennial adorned in narrow medium to dark green foliage. It makes a vigorous ground-cover once well-established and can be allowed to wend in and around larger shrubs and perennials. Spikes of 1" long and nearly 1" wide, deep purplish red, two-lipped, tubular flowers are produced from spring to fall and attract a variety of pollinators including hummingbirds, medium to large butterflies, and larger bees. Boysenberry Jam Salvia, a Salvia x jamensis hybrid or Jame Sage, is adorned with large, rounded, fragrant, rich green foliage that immediately sets this Salvia apart from most similar cultivars and acts as a nice backdrop for the dark colored flowers. This cultivar appears to be brand new to horticulture in 2025 but we expect it to have a similar habit and hardiness as most other Jame Sages growing to about 18-24" high and 12-18" wide. Spikes of large, 2" long, vivid fuchsia, velvety, tubular flowers emerge from dark colored calyxes and are held atop the dark green, glossy rounded foliage from spring to fall attracting a wide array of larger pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Buchanan's Sage, Salvia buchananii, is a naturally evergreen, loosely branching, clump forming, herbaceous perennial growing to about 16-24" high and wide. It is small enough to enjoy as a container specimen or in mixed container gardens as well as in the garden and landscape. This is a popular and easy to grow Salvia that is now considered to be rare in its native habitat of Mexico. Provide a full sun to partly shaded site in an average moist, fertile, soil with average or better drainage for optimum vigor and flowering. Its reliability as a garden plant have earned it the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Similar to New Gold in habit and flower power, Buttercream Lantana produces clusters of golden yellow flowers that change to a soft golden yellow and finally to white. An excellent Greg Grant introduction with somewhat more of a pastel effect than that of New Gold. Great for butterflies and pollinators! Buttercream Lantana is a low growing mounding Lantana suitable for use as a groundcover, at the front of the garden, or spilling from containers. Item# 9904.

Each petal of the Butterfly Amaryllis is heavily veined in burgundy and has large splotches of burgundy toward the center of the largest petals. The flowers have a narrow display and are born in small clusters atop sturdy stems in late winter and early spring. A rare and endangered species of tropical Amaryllis that makes an easy container plant. One 2-1/2 to 3" diameter flowering size bulb per container. Item# 10495.

Pale sky blue falls and standards with darker blue veining and narrow yellow signals and are centered by complimentary white style arms. The small, 1½-2" wide iris-like flowers are produced in varying pastel shades of lavender, purple, orange, yellow, pink, to red and the flowers may be solid colored (or clear) or may have varying degrees of contrasting darker flecking, blotches, etc. The plants flower over an extended season in summer and into fall and may be followed by fruits that burst open to reveal the blackberry-like clusters of shiny BB-sized fruit. Medium to large somewhat spidery trumpets are white with a glowing pink stripe down the center of each petal. The large clusters of flowers are held on sturdy stalks above the medium green strap-like foliage. This beautiful Crinum hybrid is suspected to be a Thad Howard cross. Item# 3142.

Not just another yellow Lantana, Chapel Hill Yellow is a superior selection that has the habit of New Gold but with the cold hardiness of Miss Huff. It produces clusters of primrose yellow flowers from spring to frost on a low and spreading plant and like all Lantana the flowers attract loads of butterflies and other pollinators. The 3" wide, cornflower-like daisies open white, slowly work their way through shades of lavender, and finally deepen to a violet blue creating a rainbow of cool-colored flowers even on the same flower stalk. Colorwheel Stokesia is just as tough and reliable as its brethren creating a mound of foliage on a durable and dense clump forming native perennial. Loose clusters of sweetly fragrant white, star shaped blooms are born in mass in late spring and early summer on this vigorous and durable evergreen twining climber. 1" long tubular fiery orange flowers are produced throughout the growing season on compact well-branched plants attracting low flying hummingbirds, larger butterflies and especially Sulphurs, and potentially bees. Cubano™ Presidente Cigar Plant, a hybrid Cuphea similar to the perennially popular David Verity, was selected for its more refined compact 10-12"H habit making it an excellent filler in mixed container gardens or use it in specimen containers, as well as a colorful addition to the sunny garden and landscape.
