2-3'H Perennials

These medium height perennials usually remain in the 2 to 3 feet high range under most conditions. Use them behind and among lower growing perennials, as specimen plants near the middle of border, in front of medium sized shrubs and other taller perennials, and around tree form plants. Many of these will make nice container specimens for medium sized containers and in combinations in large and very large containers. Growing conditions and how well a plant is established may affect your plant's ultimate size.

Wow! What a beauty! Brilliant golden yellow sepals and falls open wide to create a beautifully displayed, full flower that presents itself atop large sturdy stems. A vigorous and free flowering choice Louisiana Iris for the garden and landscape that is sure to bring a ray of sunshine to any spring garden. Lemon Verbena, Lemon Beebrush

Aloysia citrodora, A. triphylla, Lippia citriodora, L. triphylla, Verbena citriodora

The narrow medium to yellow green foliage smells like sweet lemon candies whenever the leaves of this shrub are brushed, diced, or cooked into your favorite dish or dessert. Lemon Verbena is naturally an evergreen small to medium sized shrub that produces pyramidal clusters of tiny, nectar rich, white fragrant flowers during the warmer months on mature new growth. Small enough to be maintained in containers where not hardy but large enough in mild winter climates to act as a background shrub or specimen. The light lemony green to medium green foliage of Lemon Verbena works as a great foil for the rich and varied greens of an herb garden. Provide it with a well-drained soil, good air circulation, and most of a day of sunlight for the best results. Item # 488
