A sterile exceptionally free flowering Lantana with a compact well-branched habit and improved vigor over similar cultivars that has received high marks in trials across the US. Rich pink 2" tubular flowers emerge from the dark colored bracts of this free flowering tropical perennial from late spring to fall. The bluest of the blues! Blue Arrowleaf Sage produces large branching clusters composed of dense spikes of 1" vivid cobalt blue tubular flowers that may be produced nearly throughout the year on this hybrid Salvia. Blue Arrowleaf Sage has large velvety arrowhead shaped aromatic foliage that seems to retain its tidiness throughout the growing season. The deep purple 3-4", richly fragrant exotic looking flowers are produced throughout the growing season on this vigorous Passionvine with medium green foliage. Incense is considered to be one of the hardiest passionvines for US gardens along with the native Maypop Passionvine, Passiflora incarnata, one of its parents, and the US native Yellow Passionvine, Passiflora lutea. In our experience Incense rarely produces fruit on its own and some sources suggest that hand pollination is required. Like the native Maypop Passionflower, Incense readily spreads by rhizomes. The fringed recurving coral-red petals are unique to this Hibiscus species. The bright tropical flowers hang like Japanese lanterns from the vigorous branches throughout much of the year. An easily grown, free-flowering tropical, and a definite conversation piece. The flowers attract a variety of pollinators including Hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.Still one of our favorites!  Item # 9246.

The green and burgundy foliage is spotted with white, giving the plant the appearance of having been snowed upon. An easy to grow tropical adaptable to sun or light shade.This is the taller, more spreading, and darker version, as compared to Breynia nivosa or Hawaiian Snowbush. Item# 472.   

A loosely double Tropical Hibiscus with large pumpkin orange flowers that are borne in abundance throughout much of the where kept warm and provided with ample sunlight. Joanne Tropical Hibiscus, we have sold this as 'Double Orange' for many years and have finally discovered its true name, is a fairly full and compact growing, yet vigorous and free flowering hibiscus that lends itself to containers and tropical garden settings. Useful as a medium to large, free flowering informal tropical shrub, as a medium-sized hedge, or for medium to medium-large containers. Katy Dwarf Pink Mexican Petunia is a lovely dwarf perennial that produces loads of pink trumpet shaped flowers tucked in among the narrow dark green glossy foliage from spring to frost on a compact low mounding plant. This durable perennial makes a great border, groundcover, or makes a great addition to containers. The flowers of Ruellias attract bees, butterflies, and even the occassional hummingbird although they would not be as likely to get this near the ground. Where winters experience freezing temperatures (zones 8A-9B) this tough little tropical perennial may freeze back to near ground level but generally readily returns in spring once soil temperatures begin to warm. Item# 917

White Katie Dwarf Mexican Petunia is a lovely dwarf perennial that produces loads of pure white trumpet shaped flowers that shine brightly against the dark green glossy foliage from spring to frost on a compact low mounding plant. Multitudes of 3-4" wide golden yellow daisies with a tan to dark brown 'eye' sit atop sturdy 18-24" stems and are produced in late spring to early summer and may repeat if deadheaded. The Large-Flower or Rough Coneflower, Rudbeckia grandiflora, is a tough and easy to grow clump forming perennial that can produce 80 or more flowering stems per clump once mature. This is probably one of the most underutilized native perennials as it has one of the most uniform habits of the native Coneflowers, it is long-lived and it can tolerate the moist to wet settings of acid bogs as well as short periods of drought once well-established. This is one of the major components of our Once-Mown Meadows here onsite. Provide a full to mostly sunny site for optimum vigor and flowering. Deer and rabbit resistant and the flowers attract a variety of smaller pollinators. Item# 9885

An exceptionally free flowering passionvine, Lady Lavender produces 3-4" wide, lightly fragrant flowers with purple sepals and petals that fade to near white near their base. The flowers are topped by a corona of blue filaments that fade to white and then darken to deep burgundy at their base. Lady Lavender Passionflower is a sterile Patrick Worley cultivar considered to be hardy to near 10oF. It is large and vigorous enough to cover a medium to large trellis easily in one season or it can be enjoyed as a container plant where not hardy. Nectar-rich, light purple flowers are produced continuously from spring to fall on tall spikes that butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds cannot seem to resist! Lavender Porterweed is a medium to large growing exceptionally full and vigorous Porterweed was once considered to be a purple form of the highly popular Coral Porterweed although we have learned that this is a sterile or nearly sterile hybrid cultivar. Porterweeds are excellent nectar producers outperforming nearly all other butterfly plants in the garden.
