The Maypop Passionvine or Passion Flower produces a summer long display of 2-3" wide white, lavender, and purple exotic flowers that are held against medium green tropical foliage. Large rounded clusters in shades of deep pink to near red (alkaline or no Aluminum), dark purple (neutral to acid), to near indigo(very acid) depending on soil acidity and the availability of Aluminum. Large clusters of fiery orange-red tubular flowers are produced from summer through fall to yearround in warm tropical climates and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Oh me oh my oh! When Midnight Flare is in flower everyone says where can I get that! It produces some of the deepest and richest, fiery, clear red flowers known in the Azalea world. The 2" wide blossoms seemingly cover up the plant in spring and are held against a foil of deep green, slightly bronze tinged foliage. Midnight Flare Azalea has a naturally medium to small rounded growth habit. Winner of the 2010 Rhododendron of the Year for the Southeastern US by the American Rhododendron Society! A very unusual, succulent plant whose large, 2-3 inch by 5-8 inch, bluish-green leaves have baby plantlets all around the serrated edges, giving them a dainty, unique appearance. The rich, sweet acidic flavor of Negronne is delectable and nearly unmistakable. It produces small to medium sized, dark purplish black, pear shaped to turbinate figs with a deep red pulp and amber flesh. The small eye is closed making it resistant to spoiling and splitting. The ripe fruit is superb fresh but can be dried or preserved as well. Negronne may produce a breba crop in mild climates and is an excellent choice for all fig growing regions with excellent cold hardiness.
