Huge 4-5" double blooms are intensely fragrant! Aimee Yoshioka is the largest flowered of all Gardenias with large, glossy, dark green foliage on a vigorous and moderately fast growing evergreen shrub. The large dark foliage provides a wonderful foil for the large white flowers. Easily trained into a tree standard. Aimee is also considered to be one of the largest growing Gardenias, particularly in mild winter climates where it is known to reach 10-12' high but 5-6' may be more typical. Item# 1154.

Purple, lavender, and near white 5-petaled flowers practically cover the plant in spring atop the deep green narrow foliage. Alyissa's Purple Prairie Phlox is a groundcover like native perennial whose butterfly pollinated flowers open a dark purple and fade to light lavender and near white as they age. Use this low growing perennial as a groundcover at the front of the border, garden, or landscape or in natural settings like roadsides, meadows, and prairies. An unusually colored Angel's Trumpet producing large, pale trumpets that deepen to a darker peachy pink. Amber Rose is an exceptionally fragrant Angel's Trumpet whose heady perfume still lingers in the mornings. It appears to flower quite freely and in good numbers even in containers. The exceptionally dark purple to near black tubular flowers peek out of the mealy white 1" long tubular calyxes that are borne in whorls around equally white stems in summer and into fall. Andean Silver-Leaf Sage, Salvia discolor, is a shrubby naturally scandent or sprawling herbaceous perennial from the Peruvian Andes Mountains that grows to about 2-3 feet high and 2-3 feet wide. The ovate dark green glossy opposite foliage has a brightly contrasting white reverse and is borne along mealy white stems. The foliage, stems, and buds are fragrant when brushed or bruised. Also known as Peruvian or Concolor Sage it is widely grown as 3'x3' shrub in the warmer parts of Europe. It is listed as being tolerant of part shade but we find it to be most vigorous in full to mostly sunny conditions in average moist well-drained soils. Item# 12239

The chartreuse foliage of this beauty is surrounded by variable bands of darkly contrasting green with random splashed of green along the veins making this a conversation piece even when not in flower. Angel's Flight Variegated Angel's Trumpet is a sport of Angel's Flight and produces the same double to triple or more flowers that open yellow and fade to a peachy orange. Audrey Lea Angel's Trumpet produces sweetly fragrant, large to very large double to triple flowered trumpets that open with a white throat reminiscent of Frosty Pink and darken to deep pink into near reds during the spring and fall growing season. During warmer summer temperatures the flowers are more of a medium pink. 2-3" double white, wonderfully fragrant flowers are borne over an exceptionally long period on this hardy evergreen shrub. Rich deep green foliage on a dense upright to rounded plant. One of the favorites among the larger growing Gardenia varieties in southern regions due to its long flowering season and hardiness. Item# 310.

Round clusters of lavender to white tubular flowers are born in summer on this durable native perennial. Wild Bergamot is a clump forming native perennial with good deer resistance. Excellent for hummingbirds and butterflies. This tough little native is drought tolerant and prefers to be on the dry side of moist and is resistant to drought once well-established. The fragrant foliage has been used in teas, perfumes, potpourri, and more. Item# 10484.

The intensely fragrant 4" wide double white flowers may produced throughout much of the year under warm tropical conditions and are held against a foil of large glossy dark green foliage. Belmont Gardenia is almost old enough to be an heirloom variety being patented in 1934 by Walter E. Lenk on Belmont Estate, Massachussets. In his patent application, PP93, he states that "The variety is an extraordinarily heavy producer and can be propagated rapidly. If not pinched back this variety blooms almost continuously and readily adapts itself to maximum production of blossoms in the Winter when they are so valuable." Obviously, Mr. Lenk developed it for greenhouse production but it has proven to be a highly desirable Gardenia clone that is still popular today and has proven to be hardy into zone 7. It is fairly similar to Aimee Yoshioka and Miami Supreme in vigor and flower size. In the garden and landscape, expect flowering to be heaviest in spring and summer with some repeat flowering into fall on mature plants. Item# 12299
