Bought this salvia in spring of 2022; planted it and it bloomed and was beautiful; the hummingbirds loved it; then came our NE Tennessee winter and the salvia froze, so this one can be listed as an annual for us. We're planting Monarda in that bed this spring; hopefully it will make the cold winters up here.

We bought the purple/white salvia because we wanted something that would return year after year. We planted ours in May and now (Sept) it is about 36" high and across and really beautiful. We have this round bed my husband built and we always put an annual there each spring but we decided to add a perennial and be done with it. Our choice was perfect. We are very pleased with how the Heatwave Breeze Salvia looks and the hummingbirds love it.
